Description:
- Unravel a dark secret that only a medium can solve. Explore the real world and the spirit world at the same time. Use your clairvoyant powers to solve mysteries linking the two worlds, uncover sinister secrets, and relive encounters with the Maw, a monster born of terrible tragedy.
The Medium is a third-person psychological horror game. The game, which features a proprietary double reality and the original soundtrack of the collaboration of Arkadiusz Reikovsky and Akira Yamaoka.
Features of the game :
- Use the unique visionary abilities that are revealed only to those who have the gift. Travel between two realities or explore both at the same time. Leave your own body to explore places where people cannot go. Create energy shields and deliver powerful blows to survive in the dangerous spirit world.
- Immerse yourself in a serious and morally ambiguous plot where everything is not what it seems and everything has a different side. You, as a medium, will see, hear and feel what is inaccessible to others, and your perception of the events that happened at the Niva resort will constantly change.
- Unique and officially patented gameplay takes place in two worlds at the same time. Explore both the physical world and the world of spirits, move between them to solve the riddles of double reality, find new paths and revive memories of past events.
- The world of spirits in The Medium is a dark reflection of our reality, a gloomy and uncomfortable place where unpunished transgressions, unkind aspirations and vicious secrets manifest themselves and take shape. This world was inspired by the paintings of Zdzislaw Beksiński, a Polish dystopian and surrealist recognized worldwide for his characteristic dark style.
- Immerse yourself in the unsettling and oppressive atmosphere of the game with the original “double” soundtrack co-created by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikovsky. Yamaoka-san is a legendary Japanese composer best known for the soundtracks for the Silent Hill series. Reikowski is a Hollywood Music in Media Award nominee who has worked on renowned horror games like Blair Witch, Layers of Fear and Observer. They are now joining creative forces to create music and songs for The Medium.
